A Safer Tomorrow
Support Refugees
In regions like Bangladesh, Jordan, Lebanon and Gaza vulnerable populations, including Syrian Refugees, Palestinians, and Rohingya, live in poorly constructed structures in impoverished camps. Urgent maintenance, renovation, and provision of caravan and shelter homes are necessary. Zaatari camp, the largest refugee camp in Jordan for Syrian Refugees, has become a settlement where families strive for normalcy. HHRD's Caravan Homes project, started in 2017, provides protection against harsh elements, ensuring a life of dignity and health for the refugees. Each HHRD-provided caravan measures (6x3) meters, featuring galvanized C18 sections (1.8mm thick) for the base and internal C14 sections. Since 2018, The Shelter of Hope homes project in Bangladesh for Rohingya refugees has provided relief to millions of people. The 150 SF size of shelter home is made with bamboo, the RCC fence and solid cement flooring comfort the Myanmar refugees. The integration of solar power systems within the shelters enhanced the resident's quality of life by providing access to electricity for lighting, communication, education, and healthcare services.
