Rebuilding Hope

HHRD Sustainable Villages

HHRD has embarked on a significant endeavor to continue our impactful work in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Morocco and Syrian Refugees.
Through our Shelter Relief Program, we have successfully constructed: 2 model villages in Afrin, Syrian Refugees, 1 model village in Chak Patyat, Pakistan, 1 in Herat, Afghanistan and 1 in Marrakesh, Morocco.
These villages typically have 100 homes, which encompass essential amenities such as homes with solar panels, mosques, libraries, schools, water wells, and home water filtration units. This ambitious initiative aims to offer long-term relief to numerous families including providing them with cattle and seeds for farming as part of our Seed of Hope project.

Building Hope & Homes

Across Afghanistan and Pakistan, the need for shelter is a fight for survival. In Afghanistan, decades of conflict have left over two million homes destroyed, exposing families and returning refugees to harsh weather conditions. Since 2023, we have been rebuilding durable homes alongside sustainable villages and solar energy to foster longterm recovery. In Pakistan, the catastrophic floods of 2022 washed away 2.3 million houses; in response, we have completed 642 permanent homes, each equipped with rooms, a kitchen, bathroom, and solar power with 50 more currently underway. This expanded initiative turns rubble into refuge, proving that whether the crisis is conflict or climate, every family deserves a place to heal, grow, and call their own.

Hope and Livelihood

Plight of Palestinian Refugees

Since 2017, our Home Renovation project has focused on helping needy families in 13 Refugee camps, particularly in GAZA and SOUF Camps. Many Palestinian Refugees and local Jordanians live in old, cramped homes in need of repairs and expansions. Unable to afford renovations themselves, they continue to live in inadequate conditions. HHRD aims to improve their living standards by renovating and enhancing these aging homes, creating healthier environments for these families.

A Safer Tomorrow

Support Refugees

Across Bangladesh and Syria, vulnerable refugee and internally displaced families continue to live in fragile shelters, damaged homes, and overcrowded camps. As geopolitical shifts allow Syrian refugees to return, many are going back to nothing but ruins. HHRD is now redirecting sturdy caravan homes once used in Jordan’s Zaatari Camp, directly into Syria to give returning and internally displaced families a safe place to begin again.

In Bangladesh, our Shelter of Hope project has supported Rohingya refugees with bamboo homes reinforced by RCC fencing, solid cement flooring, and solar power that restores light, communication, and dignity.

Your support helps families rebuild their lives with protection, stability, and hope.
