Over 1,000 lives were lost in the 6.1 magnitude earthquake that struck the eastern mountainous area of Afghanistan, on June 22, 2022, making it the deadliest quake to hit the region in over two decades. Numbers are projected to rise for this tragedy as search and rescue operations continue. A total of 60% of the population relies on international assistance.
We have been providing programs and services to the Afghan people since 2014. Our long-term efforts include orphan support, skills development and education, food and nutrition support, water sanitation and hygiene and emergency relief. Help provide essentials including hygiene kits, food, water, blankets, trauma kits and more to earthquake victims.
