As a hazardous heatwave hits Pakistan, rising temperatures in Sindh and Southern Punjab regions threaten life and livestock. Since mid-March, the rising temperatures have shown no signs of abating. Climate scientists are concerned about how long the heatwave has lasted, how much of the country it has affected, and how temperatures will continue to rise. In many places schools are closed and millions of daily wage workers and farmers remain indoors without financial assistance.
