Bangladesh Under Threat

The Rising Dangers of Climate Change

In August 2023, millions of people in Southeast Bangladesh face destruction caused by extreme tropical cyclones believed to be triggered by the phenomenon known as "EL Nino," as noted by climate experts. While the full impact of EL Nino in Asia is anticipated between September 2023 and March 2024, parts of Southeast Bangladesh are already facing hazards, underscoring deteriorating weather conditions.
